The Scottish Government are adopting a phased approach to our return to work.
Phase 1 is now underway where we are preparing for the reopening of the practice. We have made some changes to the practice, including additional hand sanitising stations and a screen at reception. We are working closely with the local health board to ensure we follow the latest local guidance on top of government guidance.
Phase 2 is likely to commence in the next few weeks. At this stage we will reopen to see patients with urgent dental care needs. We will continue to work closely with the local urgent dental care centres and refer patients where necessary. During this phase we will only be allowed to open one surgery with a maximum of 10 patients a day. Unfortunately, we do not have an exact date but will inform you as soon as we do.
Phase 3 will allow us to begin to see registered patients at the practice for non-aerosol generating routine dental care (treatments not requiring a dental drill). The Urgent Dental Care centres will continue to treat patients requiring urgent aerosol generating care.
Phase 4 will see the start of the return of normal service.
Although are doors are still closed, If you do have a dental emergency please phone the practice. Out of opening hours, please phone the NHS 24 on 111.

Thanks to all our patients for their understanding and continued support
