Virtually invisible

One of the main benefits of clear aligners is how they are virtually invisible when you wear them.

Clear aligners are made of smooth, flexible plastic that fit snugly to your teeth. There are no rough brackets or sharp wires that cause pain.

You can remove them when you eat, brush/floss your teeth, play a musical instrument, or give an important presentation. This means it has very little impact on your day to day life.

Step-by-step treatment plans

During your free consultation, your dentist will check to see if you are suitable for treatment, answers your questions and provide a comprehensive treatment plan.

3D Scans

Scans are taken with our state-of-the-art Trios intraoral scanner and sent to the lab to make your custom aligners.

You will be given clear aligners and will be shown how to look after them. You will have to come back to visit your dentist to monitor your progress.

At the end of treatment, you will be provided with custom made retainers to keep your smile for years to come.

The most frequent questions, answered!

How will clear aligners straighten my teeth?

The Invisalign® treatment uses a series of clear aligners to help you get your new smile. The aligners are created specially made for you. Throughout the treatment, you’ll change your trays every other week. The Invisalign® clear aligners will gently pull each tooth into a new position. While you might not see the results on a day-to-day basis, it will only take a matter of a few short months to see amazing results.

How long do I need to wear my aligners each day?

You need to wear them for 22 hours a day, and should only remove them to eat and drink.

How long will the process of straightening crooked teeth take?

The length of time the treatment will take will depend on you, the individual. Everyone is different. On your first visit to our practice, your dentist will make an assessment and will let you know how long you can expect to have them in for. In some cases, you will require as little as 12 weeks.

Is it painful?

Invisalign® and Clear Correct aligners are a lot more comfortable than conventional braces and there are no wires to cut into your cheeks. When you start a new aligner it can be tight and uncomfortable for the first couple of days.

Invisalign vs Clear Correct?

Both clear aligner treatment options offered at Castle Street Dental are highly effective solutions for achieving a straighter smile. In terms of the end result, both ClearCorrect and Invisalign will leave you with a gorgeous, straight smile.

Both ClearCorrect and Invisalign are invisible braces made with transparent plastic.

ClearCorrect aligners are slightly thinner than Invisalign aligners, meaning they look less noticeable in a patient's mouth.

Some Invisalign treatments might not require as many aligners.

Both Invisalign and ClearCorrect use the same fundamental principles to straighten your teeth.

Trios Intraoral Scanner

At Castle Street Dental, we've invested in the best equipment which offers patients the highest quality of treatment. The Trios Intraoral Scanner allows your dentist to accurately diagnose and execute your treatment plan.

Instead of using powder or liquid to get impressions of the teeth, the 3Shape Trios Intraoral Scanner scans the teeth in seconds. Accurate digital impressions are provided instantly without the need for retakes and sent straight to the Invisalign or ClearCorrect lab.

This means you, the patient, will receive treatment quicker, more comfortably and with highly predictable results.
